Today hubby went back to work after 4 days of being sick. with my TLC, he was able to feel better and good enough to go back to work. I woke up very early this morning to cook breakfast for him and I made sure that all the medicines he needs are in his bag. He won’t be home until Monday, so I also made sure that I packed enough meals to last until he comes back home.
This is the usual thing I do everytime he goes to work, for years now, it’s never changed… The day before, I would iron all his clothes and uniform to bring to work. He works for days, so I have to pack his bag and make sure he has enough clothes to wear while he’s gone. I also cook meals and pack them individually so all he needs to do it heat them up. He leaves for work very early, around 5 am, so I have to wake up around 4 am to cook his breakfast. After cooking, I wake him up and hand him his coffee, his work clothes and his shoes. It’s not easy but if you love someone, you would do everything to make sure he’s well taken-cared of.
When he comes home, I would be waiting by the door, breakfast and coffee ready for him. I would unpack his bags and wash his dirty clothes. I learned to do some simple massage tricks so I could massage him everytime he complains about back pains. I trim his fingernails and every now and then I would give him a foot spa ( yes, I have the bubbling foot spa machine, just for him). I really treat him like a king and he appreciates all of it. I would do everything for him and I would not change a thing for as long as I am capable of doing it. He would always brag about how well I take care of him and because of that, most single men where he works are looking for filipina women to meet and fall in-love with. Even his own family sees how well I take care of him.
All good deeds are being rewarded, and as a result, he always showers me with love and appreciation…
